I’VE NEVER BEEN GOOD AT STAYING IN MY LANE. //

My career has repeatedly put me between things.

Between strategy and the people affected by it.
Between organisations and communities.
Between and idea and making the bloody thing happen.
Between structured corporate environments and creative practice.
Between people who see the same issue completely different.

And somewhere along the way I’ve realised… that’s actually the work
I am good at.

I’ve spent much of my working life noticing what happens between the plan and the people.

Who gets heard. Who doesn’t. Why good ideas stall. Why the same voices keep ending up in the room. Why technically sensible solutions sometimes don’t work in the real work.

I’ve worked inside large organisations, across complex change, with communities, leaders, teams and people trying to make something better.

And alongside all of that, I’ve built a creative practice that taught me something equally important: not everything worth discovering arrives through a spreadsheet.

THE THREAD THROUGH ALL OF IT //

WHAT I BRING TO THE ROOM //

I CAN HOLD COMPLEXITY //

I’m comfortable when there isn’t one obvious answer and different people see the problem differently.

I NOTICE THE HUMAN STUFF //

Power, trust, behaviour, assumptions, who’s speaking and who’s gone quiet.

I CAN MOVE BETWEEN WORLDS //

Strategy and community. Structure and creativity. Big-picture thinking and getting shit done.

I DON’T NEED TO OWN THE ANSWER //

My job is to help create the conditions for better answers to emerge from the people and knowledge already there.

My background spans strategic transformation, business improvement, human-centred design, engagement, facilitation and creative practice across corporate, government and community settings.

Because one of the most important differences about Other // Wise is that I am not a Melbourne consultant driving down the freeway with a workshop template and leaving by 4.30pm.

I live in the community I’m talking about. I see its contradictions, potential, gaps and people. I have skin in what happens here.

And importantly, that doesn’t mean that Other // Wise can only work locally. But it explains why place and community matter in how I approach my work.

AND YES, I LIVE HERE. //

Yes, you can fill out the contact form or shoot me an email, but if you’re up for it… give me a call on 0438 588 810.

I’m here for it.
